Professional Learning Specialist (Full-time)
The CABE Deputy Director will promote and support the CABE vision of Biliteracy, Multicultural Competency and Educational Equity for All and the implementation of the CABE Strategic Plan. The Deputy Director is responsible for enhancing the internal organization and infrastructure necessary to develop and implement CABE’s strategic plan and policies for continued success and growth. They are responsible for initiating, carrying out, and supporting CABE operations, projects, and programs in collaboration with the CEO and Team Leaders (Coordinating Council). They will provide management support and guidance to specific grant programs and contribute to the implementation of all CABE programs. The Deputy Director will have administrative experience, strong organizational and management skills, a collaborative leadership style, a passion for serving English Learners/biliteracy students, culturally and linguistically diverse students, their parents and families, and the educators who serve them. They will possess excellent communication and relational skills and experience in providing leadership in a supportive and collaborative environment. The Deputy Director is a full-time position which reports directly to the CEO with the goal to support the growth and expansion of CABE services statewide.
